Question: the cable to open the hood is loose how do i open my hood
the hood of my 1988 cadillac fleetwood elegance won't open and the cable is loose on the inside of the car how do i open the hood until i can get it fix.

all you have to do is go from under the car and (depending on year) either look for the push over type latch and manually release if or for pull up type latch, just push striaght up on it and it will open.
