Question: stereo turns off

If the car is a 2000-2004 Deville. The radio and amp units sometimes get confused as they "talk to each other" on the Class 2 data network.
Disconnect the battery for a minute or 2, then reconnect. They should now again be 'talking' to each other and the radio will work.
