Question: can a 61 4dr frame swap into a 61 convert
i found a pair of 61's the 4dr has been restored, i want the convertible, can i just plop the convertible body on the 4dr chassis ?? it is the same wheelbase.

The frames are the same except the convertible has 1/2 inch or so added steel reinforcement to the bottom frame rails for strength. If you can look at both crawl under or look under as they are so low and you will see the extra steel. I have 3 convertibles and my 60 is on a reinforced 4 door Chassis.
