Question: 1992 GMC Problem
I have a 1992 GMC Jimmy. It started acting up back in Oct last year. It's getting worse with time. I only use this vehicle for around town and once or twice a week. Now it runs fine when cold but as soon as it warms up it starts puttering and jerking and lacks power pulling the slightest incline. It gets worse the longer it runs.
We have replaced- the plugs 2 times. the wires throttle position sensor - with one from GMC fuel filter distributor distributor cap rotor button catalic converter
No check engine lights are on. I have been thinking of sensors but according to the haynes book we have codes that should flash if it's an egr, map, fuel pump problem.
Not sure where to start next. Please help...
